Biography
a)Academic qualification:
A graduate of Kenyatta University (B.Ed and M.Ed) and Reading University, UK (PhD. in Linguistics).
b)Work experience:
Jane Kembo was Director of Training for African Institute for Capacity Development (AICAD), in charge of developing and executing poverty reduction short courses in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, a position she held for seven years. She has been Head of Curriculum, Instruction and Media. She was also Dean of School of Education where for more than six years where she oversaw many developments and changes. She has chaired several Senate and Deans’ Committees on critical policies. She joins administration and planning with a rich background and experience.
c)Honours and awards:
i.Awarded UN(ECA) research grant in 1990.
ii.Won an award for Commonwealth Scholarship in 1994.
